Father’s Office
This west-side gastropub, founded in 1955, was one of Southern California’s early adopters of the craft beer movement, but didn’t become the Father’s Office that’s so famous today until Chef Sang Yoon took over in 2000. With numerous rotating taps, the friendly bartenders are always eager to educate customers on the lesser known beers with free samples and a small history lesson. While the craft beer selection is not to be overlooked, the main attraction is the “Office Burger” where no substitutions are allowed and no ketchup is provided (or even on the premises) for the burger or fries.
