As mentioned in our first round of best beachside destinations, The Hungry Cat is SHOREbar's neighbor to one side, while Giorgio Baldi completes the West Channel trifecta on the other. This little candlelit Italian restaurant is definitely one of the more upscale on our list and may not be an ideal post-beach day spot, but is great for a romantic dinner by the coast. Serving beautiful homemade pastas and delicate dover sole, the celebrity haven is a favorite of Rihanna's, which a Google search of "Giorgio Baldi" will prove, yielding not photos of the restaurant, but of her walking in and out of it. Though you may not have a view of the beach while dining, you will not forget you're on some prime real estate when the bill comes, as the upscale ambiance and delicious food come at Malibu prices.
