Other Details: Royal/T, the Japanese maid café/exhibition space in Culver City that often hosts some of the stranger, more interesting sides of the mainstream art world, played host this weekend to a celebrity-filled unveiling of the winner of a national contest. The Swatch Art Rules Design contest, co-sponsored by the TTR World Snowboard tour, asked amateur artists to submit graphic designs, with a winner to be applied the TTR World Tour Trophy and its own Swatch watch. Aside from the grand selection of the winning design, the evening was also full of dancing, as DJ Skee was on hand to provide beats for an after party, featuring “The B In Apartment 23” Krysten Ritter, “Revenge”s Ashley Madekwe, and Shannon Elizabeth, that went on all night long.
