[Laura Prepon] [Kat Graham] [Freddie Highmore] Interview With Bates Motel star, Freddie Highmore: So, Bates Motel. Norman Bates is a very classic character, lots of history there. But you seem to put your own kind of twist on it. I feel like there's more likability to this Norman Bates. How do you go about doing that? Freddie Highmore: You already have people arrive at Bates Motel with this preconception of him being the serial killer, so you can use that to sort of play against the idea and say, "No! How about if Norman's nice?". You know he's going to have to end up killing people, but you kind of hope that he doesn't. So that's been the fun of it. And I feel at the end of season 2 is the moment of change where we start doubting our belief in Norman's good heart, and thinking maybe he is a bit manipulative; maybe he's not the nice guy we were led to believe. [Diane Kruger; Keri Russell] [Emmy Rossum] [Matt Bomer] [Lizzy Caplan]
