Cash Is King
Think what you will of Paris Hilton, but girl has nineteen product lines. She's conquered the worlds of skincare, beauty - hell, her fragrances have done almost $3 billion in sales! As a result, she's perpetually busy. She travels over 250 days a year DJing, making appearances, and checking up on her businesses.
One shocking thing the film reveals? Paris carries A LOT of cash on her when she's traveling. Like, the Queen of England doesn't carry cash, so I kind of just figured it'd be the same for all really rich people. But nope.
Before embarking on a trip to Korea, her assistant begs her not to lose one handbag in particular, because it had all of her money in it.
It seemed like a little bit of a throw away moment - an emphasis on the business mogul being forgetful. But when Paris later dropped the bag and thousands of dollars worth of loose hundreds poured out all over the ground, I get why the assistant was being so serious. But still, I'm swimming in questions over here.
First of all, who carries that amount of cash loose in a bag? And second, does Paris not have a credit card?! Like, does she tip people cash for everything!?!
