Nevertheless, they both seemed to hold on to some of that resentment when they created and starred in the VH1 reality show parody, Barely Famous, which aired from 2015-2016. In it, they poked fun at the typical L.A. rich kid with a famous parent thing. "We were the only Foster kids who didn’t want a reality-TV show," Erin has said of the idea. "We realized there has to be a show about that."
They even wrote an episode addressing their envy of their hot, spoiled step-siblings (called "The Foster Sisters’ Sisters") who were supposed to be played by Bella and Gigi themselves, apparently in on the joke. But Gigi bailed at the last minute. "We cast random models as them instead. My dad saw it and said, 'That was a little harsh, don’t you think?'"
