Thai Town watering hole The Stone Bar recently received quite a facelift courtesy of the Houston brother duo who've been creating an L.A. empire of turning seedy bars into hip nightlife spots. But it wasn't a simple 3-4 month-long process you might expect. While still in operation for much of the time, it took almost a year for a transformation to really take shape.

Earlier this month, the gradual overhaul, still not fully complete, made a dramatic stride when the Hollywood Blvd haunt reopened as Harvard and Stone.  Go HERE to read up The Stone Bar's history and evolution as Harvard & Stone, and HERE for a look inside Mark and Jonnie Houston's latest flip.
