Every year at Coachella, amid all carefree nonsense and half-naked partying, fun-loving music fans must make some hard choices when acts perform at the same time on different stages. This year is no exception and with the release of the Coachella set times, we see many scheduling conflicts that may present some dilemmas for those of you making the annual pilgrimage to the middle of Indio. The fest is less than three days away so it's time to start thinking about which show you can't miss and plan accordingly. To make the decision process easier on you and help create some lead time, we've itemized some of the larger conflicting shows you'll have to choose between (* denotes our recommendation). Hopefully you can get a good sense of which stages you'll be heading to before you get to the desert and won't waste any time (or your buzz) while you're there weighing out your options.
Ra Ra Riot* vs. She & Him vs. The Dillinger Escape Plan
Proxy vs. Yeasayer*
Gil Scott-Heron* vs. Passion Pit (this is a tough call but we heard Passion Pit isn't very good live)
Them Crooked Vultures vs. La Roux vs. Grizzly Bear*
Jay-Z* vs. Fever Ray (we love you Karen Anderssen and all your weirdness but come on, it's Hova)

-SATURDAY-
Temper Trap* vs. White Rabbits vs. Craze & Klever
Tokyo Police Club vs. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros* (seems like they would be a fun show for a music festival, no?)
The Raveonettes vs. Gossip* vs. Dirty South (it was a tossup between Gossip and Raveonettes)
The XX* vs. Coheed and Cambria
Kaskade vs. Hot Chip* vs. Faith No More
MGMT* vs. David Guetta (you could conceivably catch both since they don't completely overlap)
Flying Lotus vs. Les Claypool*
Sia vs. Devo* vs. 2ManyDJ's

-SUNDAY-
Matt & Kim* vs. Florence and the Machine vs. Sunny Day Real Estate
Jonsi vs. Charlotte Gainsbourg* vs. Julian Casablancas
Sly Stone* vs. Phoenix (this was a really tough one but we think Sly and the Family are going to put on a show to remember. Or shit, what if it's not and we miss Phoenix? This is either going to take some serious deliberation or a coin toss)
Pavement* vs. Little Boots vs. Gary Numan
Yann Tiersen vs. Gorillaz*
