UPDATE: We have just received word that The Standard Hotel, NYC will indeed be getting a pool in the near future! HOORAY!
You see the vending machine behind that cute little blond girl? It's the new Standard Hotel boardshorst/bikini machine (the first-ever) with Quiksilver, and it debuted in L.A. this month. We heard about these vending machines awhile ago, and wondered if they were the key to saving a district (Meatpacking) that was on the verge of extinction. There's just one problem. The Standard L.A. actually has a pool, the Standard, NYC does not. Minor detail right? Check out the board shorts in action at the Standard in L.A.'s pool and stay tuned for the NYC party.
