Everybody give Smashbox a warm welcome to the world of e-commerce! The photo/film studio, go-to event space, and cosmetics brand (who make my favorite bronzer) invited guests to get digital with them last night in celebration of the launch of their new and improved websites.
Like any major rite of passage or milestone such as a wedding or bar mitzvah, the launch of the new Smashbox Cosmetics and Smashbox Studios websites which now feature e-commerce, and more user-friendly access, called for a big party with an abundance of alcoholic beverages and music. To that end, Smashbox did not disappoint last night, throwing a web launch bash at their West Hollywood location for the occasion. But in addition to the requisite booze, babes and jams courtesy of DJ duo Posso, they also threw in food trucks, photo sessions and even had some of their pros on hand in case anyone wanted to get their makeup did. The crowd of pretty people in attendance sipped drinks, learned how to get that perfect smoky eye, and some even got a little funky on the dance floor.
