Reason For Replacement: Actually, Tom Hanks was a great "Jersey Shore" cast member. He drank his face off, ran around shirtless, and got a giant gothic cross tattooed on his upper thigh. The problem was more to do with his friend, Wilson, a volleyball that came to visit during test filming and beat the rest of the cast at Trivial Pursuit, making them feel insecure about their own intelligence.
