Back when the internet was in a (rightful) uproar over the discovery that fast-fashion retailer SHEIN was selling swastika necklaces, discussions about the symbol's ancient religious origins were had alongside the obvious recognition of its more prevalent representation of a horrific stain on history and its modern anti-Semitic meaning.
