Universal Studios
With all honesty, I couldn't really tell you why I think it's such a good idea to go to Universal Studios on Christmas. Maybe it's because I'm fairly sure that you'll have free run of the park, or maybe just because the lights will look pretty cool (if you're trying to snuggle up to a special someone who is also disenfranchised from Christmas but still likes twinkly Christmas lights, this might be a quality play). I don't even know if the rides at Universal are good anymore. They couldn't possibly still have the
Waterworld ride, could they?
They do!? That's like going 15 years into the future and finding out that the
novelization of
Cowboys & Aliens has become the 7th bestselling book of all time.
But you know what? I still kind of want to go. And if it does turn out to be awesome, I can go back whenever I want: until the end of the year, SoCal residents can
snag a one-year pass for the pass of a daily admission.
