Poke may be the number one food trend circulating New York right now, but it's a trend we stole from LA. Poke is originally from Hawaii, but LA of course made it the trendy, Instagrammable fish salad we know today. So next time you're eating your poke at work or in Washington Square Park, just know that it's really meant to be eaten on the beaches of Malibu.
