We've never made a secret out of our love for charity fundraisers. A party combined with an opportunity to benefit a worthy cause, and maybe even learn something? We're on board. But even we have to admit that not all fundraisers are created equal. That's why we're so excited for Inner-City Arts' annual Summer On 7th event, happening July 21 on their amazing Downtown campus. With top notch food, drink and entertainment to equal Inner-City Arts' extraordinary work with local children, Summer On 7th is a night you won't want to miss, and we've got all the details.
The only fundraiser held throughout the full location of Inner-City Arts' award-winning 1-acre Skid Row campus, Summer On 7th is a truly once-a-year opportunity to drink, dine and dance in one of Downtown Los Angeles' most beautifully unique spaces. For just $55 (or $65 at the door) you'll be treated to an evening as entertaining as it is enlightening, with music from world class performers, food and beverages provided by an impressive array of sponsors, a mystery shopping event with fabulous gifts, and full tours of the campus and facilities. As we can attest from last year, there's nothing else quite like Summer On 7th.
About Inner-City Arts
We'll get into all the details of the party in a moment, but perhaps the most compelling reason to attend Summer On 7th is the dynamic work that your ticket is supporting. If the name Inner-City Arts sounds familiar to you, it might be because their work providing arts education in a safe and inspiring environment to our city's most underserved and at-risk children was worthy enough to earn the attention of Britain's Prince William and Princess Kate, who visited the campus on their Royal tour of California last year. In visiting the campus and speaking with the children, administrators and staff, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were able to see the positive difference that the structure, education and inspiration of Inner-City Arts is able to make to these children, many of whom credit their time at Inner-City Arts with changing the whole trajectory of their lives. For much more information about Inner-City Arts, the Royals' visit, and ways you can become involved, we encourage you to check out their website HERE.
