The Standard, Hollywood had yogis getting down with their downward dog yesterday at their poolside yoga event. West Coasters channeled their East Coast counter parts, uniting energies to support the record breaking largest yoga class ever.
The "oh so hip" boutique hotel catered to their fave green, hippie, yoga-loving folks that run this city. What better to get grounded than poolside at a luxe hotel. Yoga instructor extraordinaire, Tara Stiles, moved through the masses helping yogis transition from warrior pose to pigeon while the DJ provided yoga-esque music.
When these poses got to be too heated, the party switched gears and headed for the pool and cocktails. We bet even Deepak Chopra wouldn't turn down a libation after his chakra liberation. Namaste.
