A whole new wave of iDivas are coming to L.A. after Social Media Week hosted the Social Diva Style 3.0 event at the W Hollywood Hotel last night.
Technology loving Angelenos have been enjoying the perks of Social Media Week since it kicked off on Monday. The conference which celebrates and discusses social media in all its shapes and forms, this time by the tehcnological savvy fashionistas of L.A. The subject? Social media's relationship with fashion, and trust us, it's a great one.
Our favorite fashion designers, trends and runways are just a few clicks away thanks to social networking and the blogosphere. Whether it's The Sartorialist, The Cut, or Tavi Gevinson's Style Rookie, web 2.0 keeps us on the cusp on the latest fashion curve. In this day and age, social media skills go hand in hand with personal style, so SMWLA brought bloggers and fashion enthusiasts such as Moxie, and Beyond The Rack to dish out some digital diva advice. The panel was followed by a soiree where guests sipped on cocktails and exchanged favorite fashion links; being disconnected is très démodé.
