Semi Precious Weapons Rocks Lyric Culture's Nude Collection Launch

Fred Segal's Santa Monica boutique was bursting with rock star glamour and got sticky with champagne -- literally -- last night thanks to Semi Precious Weapons' wild performance at the launch of Lyric Culture's Nude Collection.

A lucky group of fashionable and music loving attendees were treated to the most badass fashion event of the summer. Guests checked out jewelry by Lyric Culture and pieces from Justin Tranter's "f*@ked up and Pretty Fetty" line, while munching on Umami Burgers and sipping on Izze Soda cocktails. Perusing the jewelry and getting tipsy was just the first part of the amazing event.

The fun really began when Semi Precious Weapons gave an unforgettable live performance to usher in the launch of the line. As per usual, the show was wildly outrageous, complete with champagne spraying and bouncing groupies and boobies on stage; one in particular (groupie, not boobie) used Tranter's arm as a bra, so rock and roll! The group has been wowing audiences into a tizzie for the past 9 months while touring with Lady GaGa, and this private show was no exception. The line was inspired by the grungy glam style of Justin Tranter and his band, so it was only appropriate that they go all out at the premiere of the line. Thanks to the band and the rocker-chic clothing line, the event was definitely one to remember.

The band's stint in L.A. continues on with shows tonight (followed by an after party we're really looking forward to!) and tomorrow at the Staples Center. Check back tomorrow for our coverage of the official concert after party which we can promise will be one for the books.
