Friday night an elegant dual celebration marked the official opening of West Hollywood's O.S Gallery, a new studio/retail space conceived by Andrea Franco and her sister, artist Priscilla Franco, to display and sell the fine art works and crafts of L.A.'s art community.
To celebrate the arrival of this new creative hub, the gallery's opening night featured an exhibition by Barcelona-based artist Marcela Gutiérrez, a fashion illustrator who's worked with such names as Prada, McQueen, and Bazar to name a few, with her "Beauty For The Sake Of Beauty" collection, as well as the abstract paintings of owner Priscilla Franco. Lending the night even more reason to celebrate, the event also doubled as the 5th Anniversary party for Metal Magazine.
A young, fashionable collection of guests and familiar faces came out for the opening night event, including Andrea Franco, Priscilla Franco, Jae Joseph, AJ English, BJ Panda Bear, and designer Oscar Olima. The crowd scoped out new space and the works on display while sipping on mini bottles of Freixenet sparking wine and and tunes courtesy of DJ of the night, AJ English. The festivities continued in the wee hours with more dancing, drinks and latenight mischief at the after party at Paul & Andre. Stay up on O.S Gallery because, if Friday night is any indication, we have many more exciting events and visit-worthy exhibitions to look forward to.
