Lots of feathers were shaking and shimmying Saturday night in the Hollywood Hills, all for the sake of eduction, of course, at the ORT Carnaval party.
A group of young Los Angelites stepped out in support of a wonderful cause at the ORT Next Generation's Carnaval weekend event held at a private residence up Sunset Plaza. The L.A. division of ORT, the world's largest non-governmental Jewish education organization invited guests out for the Carnaval event to raise funds to educate at-risk youth in Latin America. Friends and family of L.A. committee members Cidney Dutton, Ryan Shuwarger, Dorothy Alon, Brian Boren, Deena Eberly Weiss, Josh Flagg, Jennifer Goldman, Jasmin Hai, Matt Kornberg, Aaron Leff, Justin Levine, Laurent Mamann, David Mirharooni, Neda Nathan, Matt Perlmutter, Marcus Sikors, Debbie Thame, Karen Trachtenberg, Brian Weiss and Zach Zalben donned feather masks to get into the spirit of the festive Latin American theme.
Thanks to the hors d'oeuvres, silent auction, open bar, and some very special scantily-clad guest experts in feather shaking, attendees got a little taste of some Latin samba dancing to spice up the night and make it a memorable one.
