This weekend, L.A. was filled with various BBQs, pool parties and music-fueled events to celebrate the 4th of July in style. We sent our team out to canvas the city, from the beaches to downtown, documenting everything from the Friday night "Pre-Indepence Day" events to the post-fireworks Sunday night fiestas. Keep reading for our complete roundup of L.A.'s 4th of July Weekend festivities!
Beginning on Friday night, Pre-Independence Day celebrations were held at H.Wood where a Stars and Stripes party took over the Hollywood nightclub. Partiers kicked off the weekend with tight dresses, shots, and a wild dance party. The pre-holiday partying continued on the eve of July 4th at La Vida, where next-day hangovers seemed to be of little concern to guests with BBQs and beach bashes on their Independence Day agendas.
Starting the 4th of July off on the right foot, the Hotel Erwin's High had a rooftop soiree for Sunday morning mimosas and bloodymarys overlooking Venice Boardwalk to ease guests into the day-long festivities. Down the coast, Marinapalooza was THE block party to be at. There, miles of music were enhanced by skimpy swimwear and some well-disguised orange juice-filled water bottles.
Meanwhile, back at the The Standard Downtown's 4th of July Weekend party marathon of back-to-back events, alterEgo held their Egotistic day-long pool party of swimming and sipping, followed by Boobytrap's bash that night.
