In this town, sponsored parties are a must for any true event. That's why Virgin America, V Australia, and Black Star Beer took charge and threw a bash with all the essentials, including a red carpet, a Sunset Blvd hotel pool setting, and sprinkling of celebs, for the official party to celebrate the 3rd Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival.
Friday night, guests mingled with Virgin's chipper flight attendants in crisp white uniforms over cocktails at the Andaz West Hollywood. The sky stewards even posed on the red carpet with notables like Amber Lancaster (you know, in case anyone missed the logos all over the step-and-repeat signage) to remind everyone of the airline to take when jet-setting around the globe. It was the perfect way to get partyers pumped for the following day's street fest of beer, food and live musical performances on the Strip. Even Lou Adler, the iconic producer and music exec who opened the Roxy back in the 1970s, was there to complete the celebration of the Strip's sonic history.
