Last night fashion, vocal harmonies and some young Hollywood lit up Palihouse for Alternative Apparel's "Season of Change" fall 2011 collection showcase event.
With founder Greg Alterman at its helm, go-to clothing line Alternative Apparel invited guests out to preview the upcoming collection with a Tuesday night party at the West Hollywood spot. A hip crowd of L.A. attendees enjoyed a runway show of fall looks, cocktails and tunes by rocker Donovan Leitch as DJ. Amid a week stacked with fashion events featuring celebrity DJs, this one stood apart from the the other LAFW fetes with a surprise performance by the 20-member Silver Lake Chorus.
Notables among guests in attendance included Brooke Nevin, Elizabeth Chambers, Grey Damon, Hunter Parrish, Jesse Metcalfe, Sara Paxton, Traver Rains, Grant Bowler, Avo Yermagyan, Rachel Smith, Maya Cluchey, Bryan Rabin, and the guy we'll always love as the local loadie who mastered the art of tardiness, Travis Birkenstock, or as he's known real life, Breckin Meyer.
