A Closer Look At The Artists Of Coachella 2012: Day 3

So with CoFlow and DJ Shadow, we've already spent some time talking about how the Day 3 lineup will showcase some of the best artists to come out of a productive time in hip-hop's past (the 90s). Now, let's talk about the future. Specifically, araabMUZIK, the producer and DJ from Providence, RI (the only place I've ever personally witnessed a liquor store robbery), who stepped out a bit from his style as a maker of very good beats for Cam'Ron and Diplomats to release Electronic Dream, a dark, intense, utterly weird electronic instrumental hip-hop album that seems equally unsuited for rappers or the club but is nonetheless captivating. I'm not totally sure what his live show will be like, but araabMUZIK has proven himself to be a wizard with the MPC, so I'm expecting a camera focusing on his hands as he hammers the drum machine to within an inch of its life.
