If Beyoncé is brilliant, Kim is too

Bey has "Lemonade," and Kim has that amazing voicemail she left for Ray J after he leaked their tape (which is a sex crime, BTW). And guess which masterpiece I use every day as an affirmation for my morning meditation before I drink my daily charcoal lemonade? Beyoncé may create art (by hiring songwriters and marketers for herself, might I add), but Kim's life is art. Wasn't Andy Warhol all about this kinda stuff? And he's heralded as a genius, correct?

This may be my favorite voicemail ever, but then I remember when Alexis Neiers left Nancy Jo Sales from Vanity Fair that voicemail back in 2010. So this is a real Sophie's Choice here, but obviously, they're both better than Beyoncé. Alexis and Kim came up with their monologues off the top of their heads which can only be regarded as some of the most erudite sermons that pierced my soul, whereas Beyoncé had 72 writers compose "Lemonade" for her.

So if Bey is "brilliant" for having a great marketing team, then Kim Kardashian is infinitely more brilliant because she created this brand mostly by herself. She's so business savvy, so self aware! Honestly, being an adroit entrepreneur is more admirable than being able to sing well and act "fierce" on stage. Brilliance equals intelligence. Advantage: Kim.
