The event was billed as an "unhooked" show for Deadmau5, but it is my observation that in the world of electronic dance music, "unhooked" is a fairly loose definition. It's not like Joel Zimmerman came on stage with an acoustic guitar; it simply means that he used the general DJ setup that the other acts had already utilized. In other words, if you're an Amish parent, and you let your child go to this show because he/she promised you that it was "unhooked," you are a bad Amish parent. [via]
