With a slightly easier road to Pasadena (about 860 miles from Eugene, as opposed to the 1,967 or so miles from Madison, WI), Oregon fans made the trip in large numbers, and got the party started early with a morning tailgate rally at the Santa Monica Pier, featuring the vaguely creepy sculpture you see above.
