Quick, name a place where children, celebrities, and grown adults in elaborate costumes all mingle to obsess over kids cartoons? If you guessed Roman Polanski's Swiss hideaway, you're probably right, but in this particular case, we're talking about Disney's D23 Expo last weekend in Anaheim.

Anchored by cartoon and comic book movie (Disney owns Marvel) news and exhibitions that were purposefully withheld from Comic-Con in order to make this Expo more juicy, D23 was a wild success, especially if you define success as "attracting a ton of costumed weirdos."
