GofG internships are set up to give you a solid learning structure of the L.A. cultural landscape in fields including but not limited to: Online Media, PR, Fashion, Marketing, Tech, Social Media, Sales, etc. Our goal is to provide you with the most integrated experience possible to help you find future paid work in your area of interest.
Interns must be available 2 full days per week for a minimum of three months from starting date.
Social Media Intern Responsibilities:
-Assist with day-to-day social media management, i.e. fan engagement, page and content moderation, and general outreach -Assist with basic research regarding social media as needed -Keep up to date with technology, trends, and innovation regarding digital strategy -Event coverage and being a GofG brand ambassador -Researching events in L.A. area and potential sales leads, keeping detailed research reports -Administrative duties (managing calendar listings, editing our venue directory, etc)
Qualifications and Expectations:
-Minimum commitment of 2 full days (office hours are Mon-Fri 9-5pm) per week and weekly events in L.A. (Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown LA, etc) -Working knowledge of Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon and HootSuite -Passionate about Social Media, Sales/Marketing, and Online Media -Entrepreneurial -Must be extremely detail oriented, team player and technologically savvy -Excellent interpersonal skills, independent work style, minimum supervision -Excellent research, writing and communications skills, a firm grasp of grammar -Interest and knowledge of L.A. nightlife, fashion, culture.
