His Inheritance
He may not be a prince, but Louis is set to inherit both a title and a sprawling family estate. After his father, Louis will become Earl Spencer (which would make his wife a Countess). Due to a dated and obviously sexist system, the he will also inherit his family's ancestral home, Althorp, rather than his older sister Kitty. But she doesn't seem to have a problem with it. In 2015 she told Tatler, "In general, I’m totally pro gender equality. But I’m quite happy that that’s [going to be] my brother’s responsibility. I just think it’s the correct way. I like that the house stays within the same family with the same surname. I wouldn’t want it any other way for the Spencers. And I just know my brother is going to do an impeccable job." FYI, the estate is around 500 years old and is located on 13,000 acres in Northamptonshire.
