So, What's The Drama?
It all started way back in October 2019, when Rooney took to Twitter to reveal that someone had been leaking stories about her to the British tabloids. She devised a plan via social media, which involved posting misleading Instagram stories on her private account and blocking all her followers from seeing them - save for the one person she had suspected. After those fake updates made it to the press, Rooney confirmed that it was none other than Rebekah Vardy who had been viewing her stories, thus claiming that she was the leaker.
Kind of brilliant, we'll admit.
