En route to Rotations to buy a bike basket, I noticed a store front with those siren words "sample sale." One look at the deja-viewed and loved frocks in the window, and I was in. A chihuaua and racks and shelves of extremely well-curated ready-to-wear greeted me, all of it high to very high-end (Narciso Rodriguez, Alberta Feretti, Marc Jacobs, Miguelina). My heart sunk as I looked at labels, and rose once I'd checked the prices. A spring 08 DVF print dress for $90? Everything was at least 70% less than it'd be in Barneys, and everything was new. AlBright Fashion Library is the go-to closet for magazine shoots, red carpet events, and films like SATC. Billing itself as "the editor to the editor," Albright retrieves clothes straight from the runway, and usually stores them in their downtown 7,000 square foot loft (can you imagine?).
