The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center Benefit In Southampton

The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, an East End wild life-hospital known for rescuing and rehabilitating the region's injured native wildlife hosted a night full of wildlife awareness, exclusive auctions and owls. The not-for-profit organization held this summer's benefit at Liz Brown and Leslie Alexander's waterfront estate in Southampton but unfortunately there wasn't much "owling" at this Hamptons scene.

Chairs Avis Richards, Beth Ostrosky Stern and Marcy Warren held a silent auction, giving away exclusive items like a two night stay at Distinctive Resort and Residences at the Panoramic View with dinner at 75 Main, a Manhattan to Montauk dining experience at restaurants Colicchio & Sons, East Hampton Grill, Driver's Seat, and Navy Beach, tickets to the Bridgehampton Polo final, Mamma Mia, a Mets game and much, much more. Guests munched on hors d'oeuvres and sure were happy to participate in that auction, knowing their cause for helping Long Island's wildlife.

Guests included Beth Ostrosky Stern and husband Howard Stern, Ellen and Chuck Scarborough, and many other happy guests. The cocktail party managed to get wild as guests continued mingling away into the night.
