Photo Of The Day: Sand Sculpture Festival

[Photo via Getty] Although we wish there was a month long pirates sand sculpture festival in the Hamptons, this picture was actually captured on Saturday at the Annual Sand Sculpture Festival in Blankenberge, Belgium. This particular photo is of a pirate ship littered with all sorts of pirates booty and various treasures... It is crazy to think that the same sand you lay on at the beach or that gets stuck in your bathing suit is the same material used to create this eye defying sculpture. This festival is open until the end of August and we cannot begin to imagine what the rest of the Belgium sandsculptures will look like. Stay tuned for more sandy pictures to come this summer...
