As devastated as we still are about the shuttering of Moby's, even we couldn't resist the buzzy spot that took over the space. Last summer, while best-restaurant-in-the-world Eleven Madison Park was undergoing renovations, the team including Chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara partnered up with American Express to open a chic seasonal outpost. The EMP Summer House debuted with a celeb-filled semi-bang, and remained one of the top places to see and be seen through Labor Day. According to AmEx, a seat here became the most-requested reservation in the U.S. through American Express Platinum Concierge.
Now that the Manhattan staple is back up and running, the fate of the pop-up remained up in the air. This week, however, we received confirmation that it will indeed be returning - in more ways than one.
Yes, you can once again enjoy casual takes on Eleven Madison Park's iconic cuisine after a day at the beach, but later this year it will be all about that après-ski action. The EMP Winter House will be landing in Aspen! Just when we thought we were over the cold, we suddenly can't wait for winter to return.
