A Sneak Peek Of What's New In The Hamptons This Season...

And like that... Memorial Day Weekend is just about upon us.

The mystery of what the summer holds before you still fresh, your patience for traffic and long lines still high, your wallet still plump, prime to be pilfered by "market price" dishes and, well, overpriced everything.

Each new season begins with a thrilling game of spot the change. Was that shop always there? Wasn't this restaurant called something else before? Everything looking exactly the same as you left it last year, just a pinch different.

EAST HAMPTON
- Diptyque: Well, it looks like Diptyque candles are set to be the most popular hostess gift of the season now that everyone's favorite perfume house is coming to Newtown Lane. While Baies is always the answer, if you're looking to be a little less basic, go with Mimosa.

- Louis Vuitton: We should have known that when Bernard Arnault purchased 1 Main Street a few months back it meant a Louis Vuitton boutique was on the horizon. So much for small town charm - insert eye roll here.

- Marina St Barth: One store out East wasn't enough it seems - Marina St Barth is expanding beyond their Southampton spot to open a second boutique in East Hampton.

- The Sweet Spot: While we're still mourning the loss of Scoop Du Jour, we're always happy to try a new sugary establishment. 15 flavors of frozen yogurt, Greek doughnut holes, milkshakes and more? We're not not curious.

- Jones Road Beauty: Expect to see Bobbi Brown posted up in her new beauty boutique - the founder, who named her new venture after a street in The Hamptons, lives just over in Sag Harbor.

- Madhappy: Not only is the athleisure brand Madhappy popping up for the summer, they're also dropping an exclusive East Hampton collection only available to shop in their new space.

- Derek Lam 10 Crosby: The fashion favorite's new boutique is sure to be a hit. Personally, we're most excited to check out what they'll have stocked in their denim bar.

WAINSCOTT
- Curated Fine Meats: No need to wait in line at this chic new butcher - "a jewelry store of meats," as owner Justin Aronoff describes it - they've all their finest cuts already packaged for you to grab and go and get back to barbecuing.

MONTAUK
- Mavericks: A modern steakhouse featuring local Montauk seafood and produce, an extensive wine selection from around the globe, and a beautiful view of Fort Pond from every table? The concept certainly has legs.

- Montauk OM Yoga Studio: Being out East not relaxing enough for you? From the owner of Left-Hand Coffee Shop, Yannis Papagiannis, comes Montauk's newest yoga studio, welcoming both beginners and advancer practitioners alike.

- Maison Close: Why is it that New York's most basic restaurants always be the ones to expand out East?

- Talya: Another year, another restaurant concept trying to make it at Ruschmeyers... This time, the camp ground style hotel will be hosting Greek-inspired eatery Talya.

AMAGANSETT
- Christian’s by Wolffer: Looks like the Wolffer Kitchen over in Amagansett Square is rebranding as Christian's by Wolffer. Why? Haven't got a clue. Especially since it seems they've kept the same look and feel. Still, you know it'll be a solid spot.

- Torch & Crown Brewing Company: Manhattan’s only fully-functioning brewery is setting up shop at beachside spot Dive Bar Pizza. Just keep in mind, the surfer-themed beer garden is only open on the weekends.

BRIDGEHAMPTON
- The Ness: It doesn't get much more Hamptons than an invite-only trampoline fitness studio. So what's your bet? Think you're important enough to swing access to bounce at their new Topping Rose House location?

SOUTHAMPTON
- Enchanté: Le Charlot's got some competition... From the team behind Sí Sí comes a new modern French-inspired bistro serving up everything from escargot and French onion soup to crab caviar and Niçoise salad. 

- Sushi by Boū: Blue Mar is welcoming Sushi by Boū to pop up for the season, and it sounds like a whole thing. They'll be hosting a high-end Omakase experience at their intimate 8-seat bar, plus taking over the dining room, offering rolls paired with sake to the tune of DJs spinning popular 70s disco music.

- La Vie Style House: It was only a matter of time until La Vie Style House made its way out East. The luxury brand, which makes the most fabulous, whimsical caftans ever, is making 42 Jobs Lane its new home. Basically, expect to see every woman in Southampton sporting these absolutely everywhere.

- Gorjana: Left your diamonds in the city? Laguna Beach-based jewelry brand Gorjana is bringing their classic everyday designs to Main Street.

SAG HARBOR
- Sag Harbor Kitchen: Beloved Dockside is no more. In its place? Sag Harbor Kitchen, a sea-to-table spot led by Michelin award-winning Chef Melissa O’Donnell.

- What The Falafel: Vegetarians and vegans rejoice! On the menu at Division Street's newest spot? Freshly baked pitas, homemade Lebanese style falafels, a vegan tahini shake and more.
