Shecky's Night Out is every girl's dream with cocktails, shopping, and beauty under one roof. The fun happens for 80 nights all over the country and last weekend the shopping extravaganza made its' way to the Hamptons which means every fashion-savvy Hamptonite made a run for Southampton. No joke. A line down the block with bus loads of gals pouring onto the street outside of the Southampton Historical Museum....We had a chance to chat with the president of Shecky's and nightlife pro Claudia Chan, who told us why she thinks the event has become such a success since starting back in 2001...
"Its such an accessible, affordable event. There are a lot of great sales here and you get to meet designers face to face, talk to them. And for a 30 dollar ticket you get a 100 dollar goodie bag with free drinks, beauty activities, food and beer pairings so it's very value driven and that's the one thing about us too, we're not trying to alienate anyone or be velvet rope or fashion week. It's being that sort of experience to every real girl. Any woman who wants to feel like a star for a day"
