Scream For The New Screaming Mimi's In Montauk

On Friday May 22nd, 2009 Screaming Mimi's launched their new summer store in Montauk. Screaming Mimi's will be maintaining their vintage feel this summer by calling a 750 square foot vintage beach cottage located at 662 Montauk Highway home. "Filled with classics from the 50s through the 90s, Screaming Mimi’s Montauk is the destination to create your favorite modern looks with a beachy twist, mixing pieces from years past with your current faves." Screaming Mimi's is known for designers searching for inspiration and models, celebrities, and patrons alike on the hunt for that perfect vintage piece. This summer the Montauk store will feature several hard to get and exclusive items including COMBHARD pieces specially designed for Screaming Mimi’s by Thomas Renaud, RVCA & Mollusk t-shirts, mermaid and sailor themed beach towel designed by renowned illustrator Fawn Gehweiler, which will be featured in our newsletter's "Gift Bag" so make sure to sign up and one of these original beach towels could be yours.

Some popular names that have visited Screaming Mimi's include Cynthia Rowley, Ralph Lauren, Rebecca Romijn & Jerry O’Connell, Terry Richardson, Bruce Weber, Socialista’s Armin Amiri, Richie Rich and Rogan Gregory. In addition, Mimi's is known for fabulous accessories. Some of which includes, French and Italian sunglasses from the 70's and the 80's, vintage rubber flip flops, sterling silver necklace with vintage surfer charms, and hard-to-find jewlery lines such as Arms & Armory, Langoliers, Rebekah Harris, and Coco Cardenas. To top it all off, if you conjure up a sweet tooth while shopping, Screaming Mimi's will have an in-store summer candy shop to reconcile that!
