And so how does it rank with all the other beaches that you visited?
Well, I guess the biggest outstanding difference is having this green, green grass up against the beach. So you have the water, the sand, and then the grass. You don’t find that in a lot of cities. Usually it’s just urban, like cement or cars, at the end of the sand, so that’s just visually what stands out to me. The surfing scene is interesting. I’ve shot a lot of surf, but I didn’t know there was a big scene in the Hamptons, so that to me was a surprise.
