La Perla's East End Invasion...

And we're not just talking about in bedrooms (although we're sure there's plenty of that going on), but at the events we've been attending recently. Besides the La Perla Cocktail Party at Surf Lodge, models (barely) clothed in La Perla swim were on display at the Audemars Piguet & London Jewelers  "Royal Oak Offshore Montauk Highway" Limited Edition celebration and we can expect to see the same tonight at their store in East Hampton for the Art For Life Kick-Off Event... Not only that, but La Perla gift certificates are showing up in our gift bags everywhere from Social Life to Hamptons Magazine. It really should be no surprise - one of the most exclusive lingerie companies should be omni-present in one of the most exclusive vacation locales. But what really surprises us is how many people don't realize that La Perla is not just lingerie anymore; Their extensive line of swimwear is growing in popularity. This is probably a good reason for the company to have their goods on all these beautiful models strutting around parties; We couldn't possibly imagine a better marketing platform. So if you're like me, and rarely let any other form of lingerie touch your body, or just need a new suit and have some cash to spend, we'd advise checking out La Perla's swim gear. Sexy and sophisticated, there's a variety of styles whether you want to bare-it or don't feel like sharing-it (yes, they make one-pieces! And cover-ups too!). So we suggest you at least check out their East Hampton store if you can't make it to the Italian Rivera this summer. In a La Perla bikini, you'll feel like you're practically there. Well... almost.
