The charming small town of Cold Spring Harbor, is right outside Huntington village and nestled on the Long Island sound. It is a quiet, pretty spot to loose yourself for a few hours, but less of a night time stop off. If you are looking to snag a glass of wine, a light lunch and do a little light shopping C.S.H is perfect. There are boutiques to pop into that I adore! My newest favorite shop addition is
Say La Vie. If you are looking for some family activites there is the Whaling Museum, The Cold Spring Harbor Labs (where DNA was discovered), and great hiking trails with water views.
