The 11th annual Art For Life Benefit took place at the home of Russell Simmons this past Saturday in East Hampton. Celebs flocked from all over to attend the event which was a major success for the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation (RPAF).
This Art For Life Benefit always raises incredible amounts of money for arts education, and with tables of ten starting at $15,000 and individual tickets starting at $1,500, we can certainly understand how. The theme of the night was A Night of Wonder! and celebs and guests showed up to match the color scheme of summer whites with a splash of color. The event took place in Simmons' sprawling gardens that featured sculptures made out of none other than sponsor Bounty paper towels and created by youth from RPAF's arts education program.
The always fashionable musician John Legend, music mogul Tommy Mottola, Miami Heat player Chris Bosh, The Real Housewives of New York's Kelly Bensimon and Countess Luann de Lesseps, and other celeb guests joined to show their support for the necessity of arts education for under served children.
Following the event, guests including Supermodel Selita Ebanks, singer Maxwell and actor Anthony Anderson, gathered for the official Art For Life after-party at Wainscott hotspot Georgica Restaurant & Lounge. Partygoers including chef Todd English, Real Housewives of New York Jill Zarin and Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline and Dina Manzo, among others, enjoyed Absolut specialty cocktails and Smartwater as Rev Run DJ'd for the packed house.
