By this point in the summer we've realized that private estate luncheons are the best way for any fashion fan to start their weekend off on the right foot. She can pick up some new wears from her favorite designer's latest collection, start the socializing for the weekend ahead, and support a good cause in the process. This past Friday's Valentino Luncheon and Special Presentation of the Fall/Winter 2009 Collection was no exception. The event, which was held at a private residence in Southampton, had its profits extended to City Harvest... Well-known ladies who lunch like Judith Giuliani, Nina Garcia, Alina Cho, and Erica Reid viewed the new collection with their fellow diners. We're not sure how much credit card damage everyone did, but one thing is for sure; No one was putting jackets from the new collection to use that day. The weather was absolutely beautiful.
