Ah, if only summer were indeed endless... On Saturday night at the Crow's Nest in Montauk, Guest of a Guest and Curbed Hamptons toasted to the close of yet another summer we wish just wouldn't end with drinks by Russian Standard Vodka and Dos Equis beer.
Though the sentiment bittersweet - celebrating an amazing summer while lamenting the imminent return to sweater season - guests enjoyed a quintessential Montauk evening complete with lakeside view, campfire, and live chickens. Yes, chickens! Purchased this summer by hotelier Sean MacPherson, the Crow's Nest has quietly gained a strong hold on the Montauk scene this summer, yet still maintains that quaint, "old Montauk" feel that so many locals fear may be fading (see: live chickens); with it's lakefront location and sprawling yard, it was absolutely the perfect location for our summer celebration.
Guests included Dennis Crowley, Ben Leventhal, PAPERMAG's David Hershkovits, Gypset Style author Julia Chaplin (wearing a design from her new clothing line), Crow's Nest owner Sean MacPherson, designers Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch, Soraya Darabi, TOMS Shoes founder Blake Mycoskie, and, of course, Lockhart Steele of Curbed and Guest of a Guest's very own Cameron Winklevoss and Rachelle Hruska. Mary-Kate Olsen even stopped by (in a not-so-festive all-black ensemble) with Carlos Quirarte and Matt Kliegman of New York's The Smile Restaurant and The Jane Ballroom. Mo Koyfman was also in attendance, still reveling in his win from that afternoon's Burger Bloodbath (hosted by Ben Leventhal) in Amagansett.

Guests enjoyed drinks from Russian Standard Vodka, Dos Equis, and Parlay, while mixing and mingling under the stars. Meanwhile, Danielle and Jodie Snyder of DANNIJO showcased items from their fun, quirky jewelry line, and Nick Brown of Soludos gave away free pairs of his signature jute soled espadrilles to the first lucky guests at the party. As the night continued, guests sent off wish lanterns into the night sky...perhaps wishing for summer to last just a little bit longer.

In case we haven't said it enough, we're oh so sad to see the summer go, but we can't imagine a better way to celebrate yet another wonderful season in the Hamptons.
