Plastic sunnies! Ping pong balls! Photo opps! The Thrillist Hamptons One Year Anniversary Party was filled with all sorts of gimmicky thrills. But judging by the overall giddy moods of the guests, I guess we really are all still kids at heart.
Hosted in a private area of the Day & Night party at East Hampton Point, Thrillist showed us that it's really not too hard to please a group of New Yorkers if you have a few key ingredients. Start with a list of gimmicky cocktails (and, of course, an alcohol sponsor), add in kitchy giveaways like sunglasses and ping pong balls, throw in a totally camp-tastic sponsored photo opp, and let simmer in the summer sunshine. Add in pretty girls in matching red rompers and red lipstick as icing on the cake. Voila! Perfect summer party.
