Last month, all-star
Jason Kidd was arrested for a DWI after crashing his black Cadillac Escalade into a pole near his house in Watermill. The severity of the crash left Kidd with no choice but to accept a guilty plea.
But, instead of three years of probation, the courts agreed that Kidd would get off the hook with a misdemeanor if he spoke to high school students about his experience and the dangers of drunk driving. [
