[Photo by THAC] While getting ready for the celebratory 4th of July holiday weekend, most Americans' choice of transportation will be by car. So in honor of one of the most famous road tripping families, the Griswald's, today's car of the day is a 1949 Buick Roadmaster Station Wagon. In the Hamptons at least, the Range Rover seems to have replaced the Station Wagon as to the go to family car. However, but none the less the station wagon has been around much longer than the Range Rover and deserves some attention for its nostalgia and durability.
