Greed is good. Sex is easy. Youth is forever. Or so goes the slogan for the film adaption of Bret Easton Ellis' book, The Informers. While we only recommend the film for hardcore Ellis' fans (hey, I enjoyed it but I've seen American Psycho more times than I've been on the subway), we'd advise everyone to pick up a copy of B.E.E's L.A-based scandalous novel as long as they don't mind a mental overdose of sex, drugs and money.
With the dry, witty humor Ellis is known for, it doesn't lack the sardonic nature that American Psycho also possesses - just the intense killing sprees. Bleakly amusing, you can always play a little compare and contrast game between the greed of drug-filled, money driven party centric 1980's LA and the current day Hamptons scene. We think it's totally different. More brunettes running around these parts, after-all.
