10. Barney's New York is facing possible bankruptcy.
In 2012,
Barney's did a complete management renovation, revamping it's business model. They have since held various highly publicized promotional events, such as
Lady Gaga's Workshop and the
Daphne Guinness window display; however, they are still facing possible bankruptcy. Barney's recently hired law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP to help renegotiate a $200 million revolving loan that will come due this September. [
