Alexander McQueen
This infamous dress was designed for "The Hunger Games" by the late and extraordinarily talented Alexander Mcqueen. The volume and the brightness of this dress makes it different from the usual black, grey, and white shades that we see in futuristic designs. McQueen's creative director, Sarah Burton, said at the launch of the collection:
"The future’s usually shown as stark and cold. I wanted lightness, the sense that the dresses were hovering.”
Hovering indeed, and styled with those kick-ass Gattica-esque glasses, this is a whole new take on puff.
